CPT Drilling on the Beach

Sometimes there is the need for a CPT Drilling rig with a small footprint and able to access areas that the usual truck mounted CPT rigs are not suited to. Access for this job was confined to a walkway to the beach and then tracking along the sand for 200m prior to carrying out a CPT as close to the waster as practicable. As you can see it was a beautiful morning as the sun was coming up.
